Christine Meintjes Workshop | Stellenbosch | South Africa | Part Two

I am very passionate about inspiration in all forms and people that inspire and who are willing to share their knowledge, talents and gifts with others is really a blessing to all of us. There have been a few photographers that have really inspired me in my photographic journey and Christine Meintjes is one top notch lady!

I had the great honour and amazing opportunity to photograph all the behind the scenes photography at the Christine Meintjes Workshop held in Stellenbosch on the
8th and 9th September 2011. It was two days of awesomeness... photographing, learning, having fun, being creative, pretty decor and flowers and an awesome
styled couple shoot! :)

Not only has Christine inspired me as a photographer but she has also become my friend. A few years ago I was looking for a photographer for
our engagement photoshoot and my mom said to me, "have you heard about Christine Meintjes... I heard about her and googled her..." (my first thought was WOW my mom actually googled something and second thought was COOL I would love to see her work)... well upon just glancing briefly at her website, I picked up the phone and called her up, we had a 30 minute conversation and it felt as if I was chatting to a friend... we booked our engagement shoot! :)

I really believe Christine has been a big inspiration in the South African photography community aswell as abroad. Christine gives with all her heart and you feel that when you meet her and especially at her workshops, her sharing and her personal journey is moving and extremely powerful, I strongly recommend that if you haven’t attended her workshop yet that you sign up for the next one! You will be inspired in so many ways!!!

Christine Meintjes and Iaan Van Niekerk (her husband) are also the founders of KIKI, if you are a photographer and haven't seen KIKI yet, I suggest you join the KIKI community asap!

Christine Meintjes together with Nicola Pretorius is also the founder of The Pretty Blog, where I am excited to say our wedding has been featured! :)

I really enjoyed meeting all the ladies who attended the workshop, who actually came from all over South Africa to be there!
I learnt so much in those two days and I want to thank Christine for giving me this amazing opportunity, I hope you will enjoy all the photographs of the workshop! :)

Below you will see Christine, Iaan and all the lovely ladies in action at the beautiful Middedorp Guest House.
